Thank You for Coming!

Thursday  night I hosted our monthly recipe exchange at our home.  It was wonderful to see so many friends and have everyone in our home.

Our theme was: Tried and True -- Main Dishes that your family loves.  We now have a collection of great recipes to feed our families.

If you still want to email a recipe in, I am giving everyone a few more days to get something in -- as it will take me a little while to compile everything.

I appliqued a heart on flour sack dish towels for a thank you for everyone who came.  I tucked a little note with one of my favorite quotes in each gift.

“In the eternal scheme of  things, the most crucial and fulfilling thing you will do is to build a holy home and rear a strong family in love.”  Susan W. Tanner - April 6, 2003 General Conference

ANgela you are such a gracious host. Your house was warm and uplifting. Everything was organized and your gift was so thoughtful. Joe couldn't figure out why I was getting so excited about a dish towel...until I told him that you made them for EVERYONE. I can't wait to get the recipes. Let me know if you need a few more...

I totally would have come if we were in Las Vegas. I'm going to send you a recipe (or two) still. Looks like fun. You are the premier event planner, and I am sure it was a wonderful evening.

Thanks for hosting. It was a nice end to a crazy day for me. I was happy to make it out of the house if only for 30 min. Your home is warm and inviting. I'm looking forward to some new recipes!

Wish I could have been there! There isn't much time that goes by that I wish I could hop on a plane to come back and at least say goodbye to all my friends.
I like what I see in your pictures, your house is looking cute!

Still sorry I couldn't make it. Everyone I've talked to said it was great! Those are awfully cute dish towels you made; you are so creative. One of these days, maybe Lynn's job (crazy schedule) will allow me to make it to some of these fun things. Anyway, glad it went well. You're AWESOME!!!
