I added a jar of wheat to my staples area, tucked right in between Honey Nut Cheerios and my favorite breakfast item, Coach's Oats (available at Costco).

Mike thinks that I have gone overboard on adding wheat to our diet, and honestly, he is right.

I add wheat berries to the following:
Ground hamburger or turkey (taco meat, casseroles)
Breakfast potatoes
Stir Fry

We now have 45o lbs. of wheat (in buckets) neatly tucked behind our loveseat because I have nowhere to put it! Gotta love food storage.

Do you have any great wheat recipes or favorite dishes to add wheat to?

Toooo Much wheat isn't always a good thing. I developed an allergy to wheat. (well it was genetically there all along, it manifested itself later in life) But Celiacs is on the rise... 1 in a 133 people have it. I would add different grains to your diet if I were you. Rice Flour, Oatmeal, Flax seed, etc. These are all great additions to meat loaf, hamburgers, taco meat, etc. Just a suggestion! Love the blog, Jasper is a Minnie Mike!!!
